Camber Sands

The sand dunes at Camber Sands are spectacular natural features and they're pretty rare on British landscapes There is 7 miles of blue flag sand
It is one of the most dramatic white sandy beaches on the South Coast and literally a minutes walk from our front door.

This enormous expanse of sand is either the perfect bucket and spade destination or the kite surfers paradise.

Camber Sands is a renowned area for various water and wind sports.

When the tide is out the beach seemingly goes on for miles, perfect for walking the dog, flying a kite or just going for a stroll.

Camber castle

This isolated tower, which stands between Rye and Winchelsea, stood proud protecting this stretch of coast in the early 16th century, but was abandoned as a defence by the mid-17th century as the threat of French and Spanish invasion diminished.

The castle remains largely untouched from this period and its original design can still be seen.
